Take the Pledge and tell us about it on Facebook or DM us on the right >>>

Need a reason to go vegan? How about tens of billions, even trillions if we include marine creatures that are killed for food and other uses EACH YEAR?

The easiest way to help the animals pictured below is of course to go vegan!

Those practicing the vegan lifestyle do so in many ways, but the one thing we vegans have in common is eating a 100% plant-based diet avoiding all animal foods such as meat (including fish, shellfish and insects), dairy, eggs and even honey, We also avoid all animal derived materials, as well as products tested on animals and places that use animals for entertainment like circuses, zoos and aquariums.

The Village Vegan Defines Veganism This Way:

''Veganism is an ideology(belief system) and a lifestyle that excludes (as is reasonably and safely possible) any and all kinds of use, abuse and cruelty to animals. Vegans do not use animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.''

As a vegan, you'll be a voice for these animal and all other animals who are facing abuse on today's farms and factory farms. With good conscience you'll be able to look these animals in the eye without any guilt, knowing you are living to make their lives better and at the same time improving your own.

It's not just about diet

Vegans do not exploiting animals for any reason and compassion is the main reason we choose the vegan lifestyle. From clothing to makeup and bathroom items, animal products and products tested on animals are found in many unexpected places, but there are affordable alternatives to be found for just about everything.

TRILLIONS Killed Yearly

Animals for Entertainment

Vegans don't support animal use and abuse in any form, so we avoid visiting zoos or aquariums, or participating in dog or horse racing. We visit and support animal sanctuaries that provide safe and loving homes for rescued animals instead.

First and Foremost Veganism is About Animal Rights Protection

As we say over and over again when we talk to new vegans; we want you to succeed. You can email us or DM message us in the right-hand column. We answer all questions, but please be patient we have many requests for help.

Good Luck! And WELCOME!!
