The top three best performing athletes in a women’s CrossFit competition in Germany are all vegan. Moreover, all of them credited their lifestyle change in helping boost their performances. [Vegan Athletes] 2021 World's Strongest Man Competition Powered by Vegan Burgers

  Burger Patch will be the official on-site caterer for the annual competition, serving event staff and competitors vegan burgers, French fries, and milkshakes.   Sacramento-based vegan fast-food chain Burger Patch is partnering with the 2021 SBD World’s Strongest Man competition as its official local restaurant partner. The global competition takes place annually, and this year it is set to take place in Sacramento for the first time from June 15 to June 20.  Through the partnership, Burger Patch will supply the World’s Strongest Man competition with on-site catering and serve as the preferred dining destination for event staff and competitors. “We’re excited to be part of this unique event that spotlights Sacramento with such incredible energy,” Burger Patch co-founder Danea Horn said.   Endurance athlete Robbie Balenger completed 16 loops around the 6.1-mile track of New York City’s Central Park in just over 18 hours.   Vegan endurance athlete Robbie Balenger recently broke the world record for the number of loops run around New York City’s Central Park. Balenger completed a total of 16 loops around the park’s 6.1-mile track in just over 18 hours.  He ran a total of 100 miles, beating the previous world record by 30.5 miles. Balenger’s record-breaking attempt was sponsored by the New York-based men’s activewear label Ten Thousand as part of the company’s ongoing Feats Of Strength series, in which a different athlete will be attempting a new record-breaking feat every month in 2021. [Documentary] The Vegan Cyclist: The Impossible Route: Death Valley

The Impossible Route: Death Valley is a 7-day EPIC gravel cycling adventure over one of the hardest courses in the world. Two riders, Jeremiah Bishop and The Vegan Cyclist, attempt to ride bicycles along a well-established motorcycle course called “The California Backcountry Discovery Route (CABDR).  Using the Strava Route Builder the riders charted a 760-mile gravel course inspired by the CABDR. Their route starts in Yuma, Arizona, traverses the Mojave Desert and the heart of Death Valley, and finishes in the shadow of the Sierras. This course had never before been attempted on bicycles, let alone while self-supported through each day’s ride. Both JB and VC had to carry all their tools, food, and water from start to finish of each stage.  Each day has its own unique hurdles to overcome, from cycling through sand to finding water.   Kate Strong, a vegan athlete and entrepreneur, is attempting to beat a triple world record on a static bike in her latest sporting challenge. The records she intends to smash are the farthest distances covered in one hour, 12 hours, and 24 hours. A world record for female cycling within the 24 hour period doesn’t currently exist. At 42-years-old, the TEDx speaker and consultant only began sporting training in her early 30’s.
